Questions before booking with HD Travel? Here are the common inquiries we get.

How do I make a payment on my trip?

You can make payments at anytime through our secure online payment system. Be sure to reference your booking number or the name of your group!

Can I pay by cash or check?

We are unable to accept cash but we do accept checks. If you wish to pay by check, you will need to mail the check to us prior to the final payment date.

How can I find out what my balance is?

Check your most recent payment confirmation email or contact one of our agents.

How do I make changes to my reservation?

Submit your reservation change requests by contacting one of our agents.

When will I receive my travel documents?

Travel documents are sent out a few weeks prior to travel. You will receive an email that includes all information regarding your trip.

Can I purchase travel insurance?

HD Travel recommends that all travelers purchase insurance. Many factors may cause a trip interruption or last minute cancellation – anything from sudden illness or injury to jury duty or a natural disaster. You can learn more about the plans that we offer and purchase them online here!

A group of us all booked our trip together and want to have our rooms next to one another, is that possible?

Bedding configuration and rooming location is only a request and cannot be guaranteed by the resort. We can submit any requests that you have but they are not guaranteed.

Passport validity

It is recommended that you passport is valid for at least six months upon your return date. More information on passport validity and how to renew your passport can be found here.

Is ground transportation included?

Unless otherwise noted, all of our trips include ground transportation, even if you purchased your own airfare.

How do I find my transfer?

All transfer information can be found in the travel documents that will be provided to you a few weeks prior to your trip. Our travel suppliers work with the most reliable transportation vendors in the area. When you arrive at your destination, you will proceed to baggage claim and clear customs. From there you will make your way to the ground transportation area and look for the vendor holding up a sign with our chosen travel supplier (Delta Vacations, Apple Vacations, etc.)

Can I make dinner reservations ahead of time?

Most resorts do not allow dinner reservations to be made prior to arriving at the property. You are able to make dinner reservations for the entirety of your stay once you arrive.

Can we make reservations for excursions and the spa before we arrive?

Advance reservations for excursions and the spa depend on the resort. Most reservations need to be made onsite but you can reserve spa treatments and activities for your entire stay when you arrive. If advance reservations are permitted, our agents will include that information in your travel documents.

How do I check in for my flight?

You can check in for your flight by going to the airlines website 24 hours prior to your flight time and check in using the airline confirmation code found on your travel documents. You can also check in at the airport.

Travel warnings/safety? Is it safe to travel to Mexico?

At HD Travel, the health and safety of our customers is our number one priority. We understand that there are growing concerns surrounding travel to Mexico in light of the recent media regarding safety in top Mexican tourist destinations. Our team has been closely monitoring all developments to ensure we are educated on these developing stories. We encourage all of our clients to monitor developments closely on the US Department of State website. As your travel advisors, we encourage you to review all information from these sources to ensure you are able to make an informed decision on your travel plans.

I received my travel documents and my name is spelled wrong, what do I do?

Contact one of our agents with the correct spelling of your name as soon as possible so we can correct it for you.

How do I choose a seat for my flight?

Choosing a seat will depend on which airline you are booked with. Most group air reservations are assigned seats at check in. If you wish to change or upgrade your seat, you can do so when you arrive at the airport.
